Vineeth Chemicals is a proprietary company set up by a young and enterprising chemical engineer, Mr. Vishwanath P. Shetty, M.E. (Chem.), in the year 1986. The company initially started with the manufacturing of Raney Nickel Catalyst, a versatile hydrogenation catalyst and subsequently entered into manufacturing of precious metal catalysts (mainly used as hydrogenation catalysts), precious metal compounds and allied products. Company's products profile is given in  Annexure A

Raney Nickel Catalyst (Active) is company's key product. Company's installed capacity for Raney Nickel Catalyst (Active) is around 250 tones per annum and is around 15 tones. for precious metal catalysts. Company has its own induction furnaces for the purpose of alloy making. Company has also got its own Electric Power Transformer for uninterrupted power supply.

Company's products are used mainly in the manufacture of bulk drugs, drug intermediates, aromatic chemicals, speciality chemicals, rubber additives, pesticides, dyes and dye-intermediates, fine chemicals and organic chemicals etc. where hydrogenation is the key reaction. The precious metal compounds additionally find application in electroplating. 

Company also undertakes reactivation of Spent Raney Nickel Catalysts and recovery of precious metals from the spent precious metal catalysts which helps the customers in a big way to bring down their cost of operation.

Company is highly quality conscious. The company has got its own R & D Centre where product development and improvement is an on going activity. Company has got documented procedures and systems very much similar to ISO 9000.

Company markets its products at most competitive rates. The company provides after sales service and also technical consultation to its customers. Certificate of Analysis (COA) is made available to all the customers irrespective of quantum of supply. Technical specification and test methods however are supplied against specific request. 

Company is highly conscious about prevention of environmental pollution and has adopted mechanism to ensure environmental protection. Towards this commitment the company has set up its own efficient E T P Plant.

Ever since its inception the company has maintained excellent industrial relations with its employees. All the employees of the company are treated like family members. The employees are periodically educated about house-keeping and safety aspects pertaining to manufacturing, storage and handling as most of the products are pyrophoric in nature.

The manufacturing unit of the company is located at Unit No.1, Agarwal's Industrial Estate No.3, Sativli Road, Valiv, Vasai (East), Dist. Thane - 401 208. Company's manufacturing unit works round the clock except on Friday which is its weekly off. 

Vineeth Precious Catalyst Pvt Ltd established in 1993 is a sister concern of Vineeth Chemicals and is located in close proximity and manufactures all the products mentioned above.
